Truly outstanding.  Why did I overlook Shotaro for so long?  When I engage a masseur, I'm very clear about exactly what I'm looking for -- and what I'm not.  Similarly, Shotaro (just read his profile) is very clear and consistent about what he does and does not offer.  His apartment in a beautiful building is well prepared for his client, immaculately clean with a very nice restroom -- not some messy place or rented "studio" that is occasionally the setting.  OK, so with that covered, he gets to work.  He is exactly as shown in his photos, precise and caring and detailed in his work.  Shotaro is one of the rare reasons I'll say I only wish I was in Center City more frequently.  He is exceptional.

I booked a repeat massage today with Shotaro who was able to accommodate me on short notice. He sets the bar so high I only exclusively see him on a monthly basis. He remembers the specific details from the last massage session which is so impression as a I have a right shoulder injury and expertly navigated so as to not cause any pain. 
 
The massage incorporated so many modalities.At times I felt deep tissue, other times Shiatsu, therapeutic and sensual all wrap up and uniquely tailored. He constantly checks on you regarding temperature and comfort level. 
 
Aside from the exceptional massage session, he is extremely warm, kind and friendly. If you're looking for a professional and unique massage experience, I highly recommend you give him a try. Five stars well deserved!

Shotaro is such a FINE Man! His other reviews, including one I wrote speak to his massage abilities and expertise, but he knows how to treat his clients in a very kind and respectful way. I enjoyed another 90 minute session on Friday with him at his comfortable apartment. He is soooo Relaxing and gifted. His fees for his time are less than anticipated, and I Always give him more. 
As I mentioned previously, he has clear boundaries but the massage session is incredible. If u are in the Philly area, please try Shotaro out if u haven't already!!😉
